BLS maintenance training – Replacing the visor

If the visor is accidentally broken, first unscrew the bolt from the nut, open the clip and remove the clamping band from the visor. Free the visor of all the components that will be reassembled on the new visor kit. When reassembling, be particularly careful that the face seal and clamping band are centred on the visor. Do this by lining up one end with the central mark on the face seal before tightening the bolt.
