By folding down, it preserves the aesthetics of buildings, disappearing from the outside of the buil - ding. With this module, a single person can fold down a section of up to 12 m, thus ensuring that the roof can be quickly secured when required. ADVANTAGES > The intermediate position : a new system feature this position makes the area to be secured more visible and reduces the risk of tripping when it is being secured. The guardrail remains invisible from the outside. > The folded position : aesthetically pleasing and discreet The guardrail is no longer visible from the outside. > Assembly is simple and fast > The handrail and lower rails come in 3m lengths and are packed in bundles of 7 to facilitate their spacing and their installation on a roof terrace > Available in stock, short lead time > Optional folding gate system for the corners NEW Upright/handrail connection system: the triangular handrail and T part are substituted by a round handrail and a plug at the top of the upright (delivered unassembled). This change leads to the following product modifications: - New corner angles (plastic and ALU) for round handrail; - New plug for round handrail; - Uprights: notch at the top to receive the handrail + pre-drilled holes to facilitate the assembly of the handrail and knee-rail. Securing the guardrail : Putting it into the intermediate position : Position the free part of the lever between the upright and the pivot axis of the 2 joints. Fold down the frames until the uprights touch the lever, thus preventing the guardrail from being lowered completely. Putting it into the folded position : To fold down the guardrail, the system must be unlocked, inversely to the safety principle described above. 774 mm TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS - Material : aluminium - Coating : raw, anodised or powder coated on request (RAL colours) - Handrail and knee rails have swaged ends - Assembly : HC screws and DBS2 self-drilling screws supplied - Maximum distance between the uprights : 1500 mm - Depending on layout and configuration plan, frames of 6 and 12 linear metres are possible. - Contact pressure: 0.026 DaN / Cm². 2. Push the handle using the lever. 1. Pick up the frames. 3. Raise the lever to the oblong slot in the upright. 4. Engage the lever in the slot by releasing the locking handle (the slot has notches) in order to fully lock the upright, then push the outside of the lever through to the last notch. The system is then fully locked.
