It can either evacuate an equipped person (up to 150 kg) over a maximum height of 400 metres or 2 equipped people with a total weight up to 225 kg) to a height of up to 200 metres. It reduces the time to evacuate a group of people by se quencing several consecutive runs back and forth. The maximum number of consecutive descents depends on the evacuated weight and evacuation heights; you must make sure that you do not exceed the maximum number specified in the manual. The Derope ™ is design ed to equip working places located at height and that might need emergency evacuation, such as wind turbines, cable cars, derricks, etc. De rope ™ descenders are intended for use by rescuers in a hazardous environment, in particular the four versions Derope ™ UP A - UP B - UP K - UP R, equipped with a rescue lifting wheel.
