RESPIRATORY PROTECTION TECHNICAL D ATA SHEET Honeywell North® Primair® Series PA900 Series Head gear The Honeywell North ® Primair® 900 Series is a headgear assembly designed for use with either a Honeywell North® Primair® 700 Series belt - mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) or a Honeywell North® Primair® 500 Series belt - mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) . These respirators are ideally suited for applications where non - powered air - purifying respirators are not practi cal or the higher protection factor of a hood is required, yet where the atmospheres are not immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH). Used in conjunction with 1) the Honeywell North® PA700 Series blower battery assembly with filter/cartridges (PAPR ); or 2) the Honeywell North® PA500 Series blower battery assembly with filter s (PAPR) , the Primair® PA900 Series provides clean air and respiratory protection against most gases, vapors and /or particulates , as per configuration selection , for extended per iods of ti me. Protection Type The Honeywell North Primair 900 Series (PA900 S eries) is one component of a complete PAPR respirator assembly. The PA900 S eries is approved for use with the Honeywell North Primair PA500 or PA700 Series powered filtering respiratory protective device (hereinafter RPD) and is ideally suited for applications where non - powered air purifying devices are not practical for use or a higher protection factor is requi red, but only where the atmospheres are not immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH). Certifications The PA900EU series as a part of the powered air purifying system, complies with the European Parliament and Council Regulation 2016/425/EU for Personal Protective Equipment and is certified to EN 12941:1998 + A1:2003 + A2: 2008 , Powered filtering devices incorporating a helmet or hood. The PA910 and PA 920 series offer EN166 1. B T.9N Eye and Face protection and t he PA9 20 Series offer s EN 397+A1 head protection. The PA910 series is Class TH3 (PA500) and Class TH2 (PA700). The PA920 series is Class TH3 (PA500EU and PA700EU). PA900 Assemblies The PA900 Series headgear solution offers advanced ergonomics, supreme fit and materials, and the highest of protection levels on the market. The PA900 Series is lightweight, easy to don and doff, easy to use /maintain, and adapted with accessories applicable to the applications at hand ( i.e. shrouds for chemicals) . .

R E S I Limited Warranty RESPIRATORY PROTECTION TECHNICAL DATA SHEET HONEYWELL PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT warrants the Honeywell North Primair 900 Series Hea dgear to the original owner to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original shipment from Honeywell’s fac tory. Honeywell’s obligation under this warranty will be . at Honeywell’s option . to repair or replace without charge the Honeywell North Primair 900 Series Headgear or any of its components found by Honeywell to have been defective during the warranty peri od . under the following terms: 1) The warranty claim is made (i) by the owner who purchased the Honeywell North Primair Series 900 Headgear new from Honeywell or an authorized Honeywell Distributor . and (ii) not more than three (3) months after the end of th e warranty period. 2) The Honeywell North Primair 900 Series Headgear or component is found by Honeywell to have been defective in normal use and service during the warranty period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the owner. 3) The Honeywell North Primair 900 Series Headgear or component is returned freight prepaid to Honeywell . either to its factory or to a Honeywell authorized service center and is thereafter returned to the owner freight collect. 4) This warranty does not apply (i) to any Honeywell North Primair 900 Series Headgear or component found by Honeywell to have become defective as a result of any accident . alteration . misuse . abuse . or servicing with parts not approved by Honeywell; (ii) to deterioration or aging of any component made of rubber or other elastomer since such components can be adversely affected by undue exposure to heat . sun . water . chemicals . ozone or other deteriorating elements; or (iii) to facepiece lens . compressed - air cylinders and parts that become defective through normal use. The decision as to what constitutes normal use shall be made solely by HONEYWELL PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. 5) To maintain this warranty . the purchaser must perform maintenance and inspections as prescribed in the User’s Instructions which shall include prompt replacement or repair of defective parts . and replacement of parts per the maintenance schedule as prescribed in the User’s Instruct ions.
