1. Dräger PARAT ® Soft Pack Donning Poster Always read and understand the instructions for use of the Dräger PARAT® escape device prior to use! Pull the yellow flap downwards. The security seal breaks automatically. The second filter sealing plug is detached from the hood. If negative pressure is not generated readjust the half mask to ensure a close fit over nose and mouth. Dräger PARAT® Soft Pack Remove the hood from the Soft Pack. Check the fit of the half mask by closing the front filter opening with the palm of your hand. Breathe in. Open the Soft Pack completely so that the front filter sealing plug is removed. Widen the neck seal and pull the hood over your head. Ensure that nose and chin sit comfortably in the half mask and all hair is tucked into the hood. Ready for escape.
